Ocean Township
Plastic Film Recycling

Ocean Township now accepts plastic film as an accepted item in its curbside recycling program.  This program is in partnership with UN-WASTE, a local organics and recycling company, for single family units.

 

To participate, place your dedicated plastic film bin* out on the curb and include clean and dry plastic bags, plastic storage bags such as Ziploc brand bags, dry cleaning bags, and other flexible plastic film for recycling pick-up. Un-Waste will pick up the material on the last Monday of the month.  Please click here for what materials are accepted or not.

  3. ​Checkout (please choose No Payment Method)

*The"Plastic Film Only" labeled recycling bins** are available for free delivery to your residence by UN-WASTE.  Your bucket will get delivered to you on the next scheduled Plastic Film Collection pickup day.  If you'd like to receive your bucket before the next pickup day which resides on the last Monday of every month, please make this request with care@unwastemovement.world

  • Polystyrene or foam containers​

  • Paper towels and napkins

  • Food-soiled paper and cardboard

  • Diapers

  • Feminine products

  • Biodegradable or compostable bags

  • Pre-washed salad mix bags

  • Candy wrappers

Request a replacement and/or additional Bucket

Active participants can request a replacement bucket for lost/stolen/damaged buckets or additional buckets for their household.
